Qualitative Poster Research

Before carrying out planning for the trailer, I decided to research the codes and conventions of the three products and this meant that I would need to find some grindhouse slasher posters which I would need to analyse. I also needed to find some magazine covers to analyse in terms of the codes and conventions and I would also need to find some trailer so that I could get an idea of how existing media texts within the grindhouse slasher genre look and as to what sort of content they involve.
